How do I order?
Samples Ready to place your order? - Digital Proofs - Hard Copy Proofs Final Printing and Delivery
We suggest you begin by ordering samples from our Etsy shop in order to personally see and feel the quality and colors of our designs and papers.
Simply purchase the items of your choosing from our shop and enter your customizations in the fields provided. For wedding stationery, you may purchase a deposit listing from our Etsy shop first, if you wish.
Two free digital proofs are included with your order. Your proofs show your customized products as they will be printed. Your proof will be e-mailed to you usually within 2 business days after your order is placed and info submitted. You can e-mail back with changes to your proof or respond with “I approve this proof” and your order will go to print.-
You may choose to receive a hard copy proof before your entire order goes to print, skip it, or select the 1-day rush option. Hard copies print in about 4 business days and deliver in 2-6 business days.
After approving your proofs, let us know and we will send your full order to print. Finalized orders print in 9 business days and deliver in 2-3 business days via Priority Mail, US only. See here for international orders.
What can I customize?
Days Gone Design offers the most beautiful papers and envelopes available, all sourced from the U.S. We offer a wide selection of paper, envelope, font and ink options.
All wording is customizable to meet your requirements. See here for help in wording your wedding invitations.
Paper
Ink Colors Select from our color swatches or provide us with a Pantone number or CMYK color values.
Ink colors may appear differently in print compared to what you see on your computer monitor. This is because all monitors display color differently. If you are concerned about color appearance, we highly recommend ordering a hard copy proof of your invitations before your full order goes to print.
Fonts
Choose from any of our standard fonts or submit your own font file.
Envelopes
Gorgeous Euro-flap Envelopes in Matte or Texture are included with your order.
Invitations include 1 A7 envelope. Outer (A7.5) envelopes are available at extra cost, $.50 each.
Shimmer Envelopes are an additional $.20 per envelope, any size.
Do you offer Envelope Addressing?
Yes, we offer coordinating address printing to add an elegant touch and time-saving luxury to your invitations. Guest address on front – $1.00 per envelope Guest Address Instructions: Or create a spreadsheet with 5 columns: “Name”, “Address”, “City”, “State”, “Zip” and optionally, “Country” if you have international guests or use our template above. Enter your guest information exactly as you would like it to appear on your envelopes. Be sure to begin with a clean spreadsheet (or use our template). Do not add tabs, extra spaces, or carriage returns within cells. Do not style or format your spreadsheet in any way – we will take care of that part for you! If you have names that you would like to have appear on a second line, use a ; to denote the line break. Do the same to denote information that needs to be on a separate line in the address field. Spreadsheets must be formatted correctly before we can begin working on your guest addresses.

Printing Process
Digital Print Process We do not offer other printing processes such letterpress or thermal printing.
The digital print process represents the latest in printing technology. Print-ready files are sent directly from a computer to a state-of-the-art, professional grade printing press. This method allows for cost-effective short print runs, fast turnaround times and minimal waste.
When will I receive my order?
The standard process takes roughly 5-6 weeks. Here’s a break down for you. 1) Digital Proofing Process – We email digital proofs usually within 2 business days. The digital proofing process usually takes about a week or so, but can be completed in as little as 2 business days if you are able to respond quickly with revisions. 2) Hard Copy Proofs – To ensure your items print as expected, we generally run a round of hard copy proofs before your entire order goes to print. This takes about 4 business days to print and 2-6 business days to ship (via First Class Mail, US). You may choose to skip this step. 3) Printing – After all proofing is approved, orders print within 2 weeks. 4) Delivery – Orders take 2-3 business days to ship (via Priority Mail, US). Do you offer Custom Design?
Yes, we LOVE custom orders and making your dreams come true on paper!
Custom orders start at $80 and include 3 initial concepts based off of our questionnaire form for custom orders. 5 rounds of digital proofs/revisions and 1 hard copy proof are included. Additional revisions are available at $10 each.
Do you sell digital versions of your designs so I can print them myself?
The short answer is sorry, but no. The long answer? We are protective of our hard work and about quality control. We want all Days Gone Design invitations to completely impress and if we’re not overseeing the printing we can’t be sure they will. If we released one of our designs, it would be in a vulnerable state and risk of being altered, tweaked, traded, uploaded, downloaded, and passed around. Our designs are not only a major part of our business, they’re also creative works on which we’ve spent a lot of time perfecting. Therefore, we cannot sell, license or give you permission to use any part of our designs. The purchase of any item on our website does not transfer its copyright, unless otherwise noted.
